Mob Wars Helper’s future
On August, 17th there has been a big update in the Mob Wars application. As a consequence the script must be updated to the new “multiple location” version of the game and for now (at least for characters of level over 45) the jobs module doesn’t work.
It shouldn’t take a lot of time to fix it, but I have plenty of real world work, so you’ll have to be patient.
Concerning captchas, I will probably just stop the script whenever one is encountered to let you insert the answer yourself.

The following are the buildings available to buy in London.

Perhaps I’m the only one, but I am still forced to buy buildings in groups of 1, 5 or 10. When I go to the city, in the script box I get the message “Error in module ‘datadisplay’ on line 1655: input has no properties.”

Cities update is being rolled back.

bradley: I suppose you reset your account (or you logged into another more powerful account in the same browser). The script assumes that while playing more and more buildings are available, and it panics if it does not find old buildings.
Try reinstalling (and don’t forget to check the “Also uninstall associated preferences” box).
TR: Thanks, the script will take that into account automatically whenever you change level or uninstall and reinstall the script (checking also the “Also uninstall associated preferences” box).
Anonymous: Thanks, unfortunately dealing with multiple locations is more complex than just adding new city buildings. If you decide to stay in London you can reinstall the script as in the answer to TR and it will work (probably flawlessly).
jcbhntz: So I see. I think they’ll change a lot of things in the next days so it would be useless to try catch up with them.

FYI, they backed out the multiple locations stuff.

There are some macros at http://www.hakanozerdem.com/2008/08/20/mob-wars-facebook-biraz-hile-zamani/ which work in Firefox with iMacros extension.
Just set them up and the game will be played automatically.

thanks! just found this script and it’s really helpful

no point doing the locations now, at least the script is able to calculate the new weapon and armor~

ahmad: It would be nice to have a Turkish-English translation of that post
Anyway thank you for sharing the existence of iMacros. Personally I’ll still continue to use GreaseMonkey, since it gives me more control over what the script is doing: for example my script knows exactly when you can do a certain job and does not reload the page if not needed.
If you don’t have anything against it I’ll look into a way to improve these macros.

Since no more multiple locations.. I noticed the script had a problem in calculating and suggesting the newly added weapons (CheyTac .408 is fine) but the tactical armor is not calculated and always put as unused!. Hence, affecting total attack, defence and # of mobs to fight.. appreciate if you look @ it as all the numbers now r not correct (when buying tactical armors that is) … thank u
