6.1 Computer data

You can download the following computer data which have all some mathematical interest.

• primes.gz -- a file containing the first 1,000,000 primes in binary form, i.e. it's an array of 64-bit int.
• neper.txt.gz and pi.txt.gz -- contain the e and pi numbers with a 1,000,000 decimal expansion.

6.2 Interesting papers

Here you can find the links to interesting mathematical papers on the Net:

• A self-course in block cipher cryptanalysis by Bruce Schneier
  It is a little guide to the interesting field of cryptanalysis written by one of the best experts of this discipline, author of books such as Applied Cryptography.
• Modular functions and Modular curves by James Milne
  A great course on the subject by a great mathematician. Unfortunately his site uses frames, you'll find the frameset on Milne's mathematical homepage.
• Ben J.J. Moonen papers and also his book written with Gerard van der Geer on Abelian varieties
• Bas Edixhoven list of publications.

6.3 Interesting cultural projects

Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia that accepts contributions from anyone. If you know well your domain or at least you are skilled in translation (it comes in 68 languages, 12 of which are actively developed).

Project Gutenberg publishes thousands of public domain books in electronic form.

Something you maybe don't know is that the CDs and DVDs of Project Gutenberg are also distributed via BitTorrent, which gives you maybe a faster download and saves some bandwidth of PG's site.
